Click on FAQs in the Main Menu block and look under Gallery FAQs. There is a specific FAQ on how to include images from your gallery in your signature.

1st your picture has to be hosted on the internet, not just on your computer.

Look over this FAQ that discusses using the gallery system and including photos in your signature.

I see the red X that is half the battle right there!

I put my sig pix on my ISP's server and then inserted the code for that in my sig.

the code looks something like this {img= <A href="http://"Your">http://"Yourserver.COM/filename.jpg"} You have to delete the "'s at teh beginning and the end also change the {} to [] send me the location of your file once it is on a server and then I will Private message back with appropriate code.

You use {img} to open the command and {/img} to end the command...

Remember to replace the {} with []...

That's your problem. That's a file that's located locally on your computer, that won't work. Upload the file to your gallery, you will use the address of the file when it is hosted in the gallery in the img tag.

My bad! I thought he already had the pix on the web. I didn't know he was trying to up load it from his hard drive.

hutto: Like mbabischkin said put it in the Gallery and then I can help with the exact text. If you use the text that you typed, it will try to search for the pix on the hard drive of each person who is trying to view your post.
IT WONT BE THERE. Gotta put it on a server such as the NAM Gallery

open it in your gallery and right click on it and copy image location
Than go to your sig and click the insert image and paste the info in there
and resize as needed

hey hutto - FYI, I can see your sig pic now, but it's HUUUUGE! I think the site guidelines say something like 125 pixels by 500 pixels for a max size.

also FYI - there's a "Test" forum where you can test stuff out to your heart's content

The "biggest" problem is yet to be encountered in this process.

hutto, the pics in your gallery are not going to magically become smaller when applied to the signature block...you will need to downsize them with photo software on your mac.

EDIT: OK sorry, I'm late again with the above response...

I've attached a graphic that includes both pics downsized that you can do with whatever you wish...good luck with this.

ctrl click then select copy image address...

To paste that image in the window so you can insert in the img tags, just click on the window. Then ctrl click again and select paste. The image address will be pasted in the window for you...
