Am I missing something, or is it sort of difficult to check out someone's gallery when you read a post of theirs? I would like to be able to check out someone's gallery, or let them check out mine, without having to search for it. I uploaded some new pics and I would like to let people know but I can't just say "see my gallery" because there is no button for it. Then if I want to inlcude a pic in my post I have to go and re-size my pics down to the accepted attachment size. Is this a necessary hassle, or am I overlooking something?

That's on the "to do" list, but things like a product/vendor/dealer rating system are higher priority currently. It is something we'd like to do though.

If the picture is in your gallery you can post it directly on the forum by referencing the image's URL (internet address).
