NAM site change recomendation.

WHY not separate forums for: MINI,MINI/S.& CABRIO.
Mini tgread in NAM has become diluted.

Posts becomes diluted,lost and lose intererest because there isn't a specific model area in NAM;
Present owners of a specific model always need answer from owners of their Mini model.
Porential buyers and present owners woud find much interest in the special details and modidications that are offered for each specific Mini model.
And it is my belief that NAM would generate more potential member hits on NAM site and our sponsor participitation would increase as a result.

For some time I've been discussing this with the core moderation team to get feedback. To date we've considered additional forums for JCW equipped cars, cabrios, Cooper, Cooper S, and others. The consensus has been to this point that fragmenting the forums into these groups may actually create more problems as the dividing line on which forum should be used becomes confusing to the end user. For example, if we implemented a separate forum for the cabrio talk shouldn't there also be a cabrio specific Under the Bonnet, Performance mods, etc? In this case I think it becomes unclear to the membership where they should be posting relative to the type of MINI they have.

All that said I open to understanding what specific issues appear to fall outside of the current forum structure. Is the issue that your threads don't get responses, they aren't seen/answered, etc.? If you can provide some examples of what you are seeing I can look into it further and see if there is another means available to assist.

Thanks

Mark
