What does it take?
What does it take?
I've had this account for a few years and even completed a name change over two years ago but a few months ago I got and still have the "Your Account Is Not Fully Active" when I come to this site.
At that time I did searches on this forum for a possible solution and didn't find anything but did find others that had the same issue. I clicked the "Resend Activation Email" a few different times and followed the process each time with no changes.
In December after buying a 2012 Mini Cooper S Countryman I sent in a request to change my forum name. No response. I clicked a few different "contact us" links on this forum resent the ID change request and even posted something similar to this post in other sections ... no response.
So, like the title says "What does it take?" to get my ID changed and that error message off of my account?

What it takes is a crew of moderators that pay attention. You might try PMing this guy about changing your screen name. He does pop in once in a while and is a moderator.

I'd just ignore any unsolicited 'suggestions'.

Like Fly n Brick said, NAM doesn't get much moderation. I haven't seen the mod he mentioned around lately. If was me, I'd give up on the name change and just create a new ID and hope for the best..
There was a small handful of guys, no longer on NAM, that took the 'no moderator challenge' and started posting all sorts of obnoxious junk just to see if anyone was paying attention. They got away with it for a couple of weeks if I remember correctly. Getting banned from NAM was of no concern for them and they did have some fun.
