Is anyone else having this problem?

When I open a thread, the first post on the page is way down at the bottom, below the nav bars on the left. The space next to the nav bars where the posts should start is blank. When I expand the window to accomodate, it doesn't help, so I'm thinking it's a glitch in the code. I've also noticed that the smiley box to the right has 6 smileys (2 columns of three) outside the box.

I'm on Mac OS X (Panther) running IE 5.2, if that helps.

Thanks!

Jenn

I experienced that problem yesterday. I'm running OS X 10.3.4 and Safari 1.2.2. Quit the browser and did a restart, the problem went away and hasn't came back.

Thanks for the feedback Charles. I seem to have the problem every time I'm here. I've restarted IE and even rebooted a couple of times, and no change. Maybe I'll try safari and see if that's any better.

Just for the fun of it I loaded IE 5.2 for the Mac and opened the NAM web site. Looked just as you described in your first post. Microsoft doesn't support IE for the Mac anymore but, no matter Safari loads pages much faster, has Popup blocking and tab browsing, it's a great browser try it.

Thanks Charles. I've used Safari, but I don't use it regularly because some things don't work properly with it. I guess I'll be using two browsers for a while until Safari gets all it's bugs worked out...

I was finally able to track down and resolve this issue. IE 5 on the Mac should now render the pages correctly. That said, I would still recommend moving to Mozilla or Safari as there are numerous dynamic pop-up menus that you can use when on these browsers. Unfortunately IE 5 on the Mac is severly crippled when it comes to full javascript support (needed to display and manage the pop-up menus).
