Why is fiat running an ad on this site for driving experience of the Fiat when this is a MINI site?

Probably because they see MINI people as bring likely to be interested in Fiats. I know if someone was on the street handing out free Abarth 500s, I'd be willing to find a parking spot for it.

Because people probably cross-shop Fiat's and MINI's.

Because it's a small, quirky, affordable European car.

Because NAM is paid for by advertisers, which is why it's free to the user.

Because the same guy designed the R50/53 and the Fiat 500.

Because more small cars on the road is always a good thing.

Because NAM is owned by Internet Brands, a large corporation that owns and runs a large number of websites, including over 100 automotive websites (see the list here). They sell blocks of advertising that run on multiple of their websites at once, and Fiat is one of their many customers. It's Fiat's choice of websites. NAM actually seems like a logical choice.

And because the ad code looks at the other cookies from other sites you've visited in determining which ads to display? So come clean Rick - you've been surfing the Fiat web site haven't you? :-D

Nailed it, they setup with IB an agreement for advertising here, and those of us that can handle small cars likely fit their demographic.

And remember NAM is totally independent of MINIs Corporate side of things as well, so it's not like it's exclusive super secret MINI only group here and we've had many folks from other car communities join NAM while looking at MINIs, and stay just because they enjoy the community here even though they didn't buy a MINI, and many more that have sold their MINIs stick around for the same reasons.

Heck no. I don't like those cars.

I guess Ford, Toyota, Nissan and the like are next since they all make some small cars too!

I understand its all about the money but it will cause me to visit here less. Thanks
