I can't find a thread on how to post pictures. When I click onn the "insert image" it asks for a URL, but my photos are stored in a folder on my PC. There must be a write-up somewhere on this topic, but I can't find that either. I tried adding it as an insert, but the quality was awful. Can anyone help?

 

You can always upload the photos to your gallery here on NAM and then link those in the post.

To find the Gallery look under Main Menu on the left side of the screen and select My Gallery.

To Upload select Upload Photos on the right side of the Title Bar.

Also, for specific steps click on FAQs in the main menu and look under the Gallery FAQs. How to use your gallery and then use your images in your posts are all explained there.

If you don't want to read through all of the FAQ's, either they have to be uploaded to your Gallery here on NAM or some other site like Photobucket, Snapfish, etc. You can't upload to post in a thread from your PC.

Once uploaded, right click on Properties, then copy the URL. Click on the little yellow box that looks like a mountain (LOL!) "Insert Image" ^^^up there on your tool bar. Then paste your url into that and hit submit. It will show you the picture before you actually post here. That way you can see if it works or not. It only took me FOREVER to figure it out, so don't feel bad...
