0h n03s1! a glitch in teh matrix

this has happened quite a few times over the last few months....checking subscribed threads in my UserCP, it shows a new post. I click on that post and there was actually not a new post at all. Example:





Haemish couldn't have replied as shown, as he's been offline since last night.

Dan,

That happens with all of the poll threads. Any time that someone votes in the poll, without posting anything, the time is updated to reflect the poll change, but the "last post by" name stays the same.

It's basically a design flaw in vBulletin. I've noticed it for a long time now, but I tend to ignore it.

Of course, if you want to think I'm haunting you, that's fine too.

ahhh, makes more sense now. to think I've been a vbulletin mod for some four years now and this is the first I've heard of it. it's quite maddening to click on the thread only to see a days old post.
