Don't forget that the theme of our "float" is A TRAIN OF MINIS. Wear a train conductor's hat and a scarf if you have them.

I will have extra hats and scarfs. I will have Nevada flags for your antenna and a few to wave out the window. See you in the Morning. Glenn

The results are in.

The Sierra Nevada Mini Coopers club was awarded Third Place in the
"SPECIAL INTEREST or MILITARY VEHICLES" category.

Kudos to Lisa who arranged for us to be in the 2006 Nevada Day
Parade. Thanks also to the two Classic Minis that
joined us for event. We had 10 Mini Coopers helping us to celebrate
Nevada's birthday. It was all very cool.

what a parade!!!

I saw quite a few people I knew so that was fun. I loved to hear the judges say our little spiel....Next year I will give them a better one to read. I know the crowd just loved the two classic minis that joined us. Bob was a hit as was" Hey, that's my mailman!!!!!" Glenn. For our first parade ever I think 3rd place is great out of 230 entries!!!! Now I know to plan ahead. I want to thank all the minis for your support in coming and showing off. What a great day..........We will have one more get together to say goodbye for the year due to our Sierra winter weather and will meet up again in May. I will send out one more newsletter next week. Thanks again everyone for joining in, Lisa aka Rainbow blue (skittles)
