The Mongoose and MongoosePro ISO cable will cover the following pins on the OBDII
5 - Signal Ground
6 - CAN+
7 - K-Line (ISO9141)
14 - CAN-
15 L-Line (ISO9141)
16 - Battery
Any OEM that only require these protocols you can use the cable. The Mongoose ISO (clear case) will not work with Windows 10.
VW/BMW/Mini/Chrysler all can use ISO9141
Most OEM 2008 and newer use HS-CAN on 6 & 14 for emission modules
The Mongoose/MongoosePro ISO is more of an engineering interface, however it can be used for programming.
