Got the cheaper set. Reviews weren't too bad! Good enough to try. $333 and some change for a set! The Michellin super sport will have to wait.

ECS has them for both the S and JCW

Vetsvette, still loving the front splitter? Simple yet effective!!!!! Must say, I've had my fair share of (oh crap i just scraped the Sh*+ out of my lip) but it's held nicely with no issues. I can feel some scratches from the bottom but you cants see it at all. Thank you AC Scnitzer!

Very nice... they look remarking similar to Advan RZ wheels I had for my previous BMW M135i. Looking forward to seeing them on the F56

Thanks, but to be accurate these are 17" NM Engineering wheels not Rays.

As I previously stated they are 8 lbs lighter (EACH!) than the stock JCW wheel. That is a huge difference in un-sprung, and rotational, weight and that weight reduction is very noticeable when driving (now I wish I had also changed to lighter non-runflat tires at the same time).

Although I did not take a very accurate "before" measurement, it appears that they also increased the car's total track by 1-1/2."

Now a question; the stock tires are 205-40-17 but when I do change to non-runflat tires I would like to go one size larger. Does anyone know if with the increased track width, if 215-40-17 tires will fit without rubbing?

Qualt. You'll probably going to be fine if you're not having any issues now. Google (willitfit.com) you plug in the numbers and they superimpose the current setup to the new one you want. Gives you a better idea how many millimeters it'll either go in or out.

Orange my stock wheel, green is new. You can also see the sillouhette of the tires.

I'm running the same wheels with 215/45X17 tires.

Qualt, in my opinion. Vetsvette fitment is perfect for your wheel. The 45 profile could provide a more comfortable ride as well as fill in some wheel gap from tire to fender. Just my opinion.

Vetsvette I learned hard and fast the difference of stock 195x55x16 vs 225x40x18. My car now makes "fun" (not really fun, but really scary scraping and plastics crunching sounds) the 3 times I hit a big dip or bump going over 45. My littlest one also says the car is bumpy. She can probably feel the vibrations and bumps more sitting backseat.

Thanks!

I suspect that the larger tires will not only put a little more rubber on the road but they will also make the speedometer more accurate. Mine reads several MPH faster than the actual speed.

Correct. At around 60mph the speedo is a match with my Garmin. Everywhere else in the range it's within 1-3 mph. This combo along with ~1.5 inch drop allows the car to sit perfectly and fills the wheel to wheel well gap nicely. I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out. You can't go wrong with 215/45X17.
