Were they working prior?

Did you check for voltage at the fixture?

Try reversing the bulbs. Some LED lamps are polarized.

This is true. When you install the flat style LEDs that come with the kit the side with the LEDs should face outward (that's kind of obvious though).

Got my 2 kits in on Friday (along with base roof rack! Thanks for the good deal on both). Installed all the task lights so far and they are great. Also moved the bluetooth mic to the driver side while I had everything apart.:thu mbsup:

Hi,

These 7-piece kits are discontinued. MINI does offer a 10-piece kit if you are interested. It however is not cheap at $104.70 plus shipping. Here is a link:

ECS Tuning sells the Ziza kits for about $100 depending on make/model. Should replace everything: overheads, glove box, trunk, puddle lights, etc.

Looks like their aftermarket kit is $109.95. Our OEM MINI Kit is $104.70

So I'd like to place an order for these. Any update from yesterday in regards if these are still going to be available?

I got a hold of MiniPartsMass, and asked if they had the waiting list for these. They replied that they no long had the list, and that I should just post up here.

I was fortunate enough to get two sets of these, but only need one for my R58. So, for $20 (includes my cost for them initially, plus some for shipping) I'll ship them to the first person who can respond to this thread with "The Answer".

I'll take them if these are still available and for the R56.

laforze has a pm, because he produced the answer first in the thread.

wow, can't believe I had to pull teeth for that one. I am saddened, and depressed.

And no...the movie was a horrific remake of a trilogy of five remarkable books.

It was rather dull at times, however, I will admit that it had it's moment. I'll definitely check out the books though.

For those of us that still have R53s, where can we find replacement LED bulbs for our interior? Surely there is someone out there that knows where these can be had.

I just installed a 15pc kit I got from EBAY....
http://www.ebay.com/itm/15pcs-Xenon-White-LED-Interior-Light-Kit-Package-For-MINI-Cooper-S-R53-2001-2006-/291225462676?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43ce63e794

They actually work pretty damn good, I was surprised.....whatta difference from the stock lighting.....let's see how long they last.....
I took the 2 bulbs for the back map lights and put them under the dash by your feet....

Well, I finally got around to fitting a set to my Roadster. Really glad I did, brightens up the footwells no end. Downside: I can see all the dirt now so I need to get the vac out!
