Homelink mirror fir sale easy plug and play no modification required
existing wires harness is already in your regular mirror. Just swap it out and program it to use. There’s a video on YouTube of how to remove your existing mirror and a few other on how to program it

Fair warning, it is only plug-and-play in cars that already have the auto-dim mirror option. If the car has a manual dim mirror there is additional wiring that needs to be done to make this work.

Good on you putting that out there. Would have sucked if I tried to buy it and it needed more wiring.

i have one of these that I have yet to wire. I wonder how involved it would be

Two options,

1. Jumper a couple pins in the connector to the mirror. This provides constant power to the Homelink and dimmer circuits. Not ideal but works
2. Run a couple wires down to the SPEG module in the passenger footwell. Also would need coding to make the mirror un-dim when you put it in reverse. This is OEM integration.
