It will help car start better in very cold weather condition. You can do your search on google and get a more detail infos. Hope it helps.

The PCV hose doesn't run down below the intake manifold (which allows condensation to accumulate and leads to hard start). The cold climate intake has the white connectors as shown in the picture above.

There is a theory that the cold climate intake helps reduce the carbon buildup on the intake valves....but as far as I know that is just a theory.

I have one of these on my car. I believe that these are no longer available.
