Where in NJ exactly are you located? I'm somewhat local, Riverdale-Bronx/NY

 

I'll take some pics of the aftermarket wing in a few minutes. Also for those wondering I am located around Cherry Hill, NJ. Near Philadelphia.

 

Here's a 360 degree view of my car. Wing, front lip, door handles, and gas cap are all carbon fiber with everything else being gloss black. Probably should make an album.

Would you be able to help me install it? I'm not very mechanically inclined and I'm afraid I might break something in the process. I could stop by tomorrow during the day - PM me your cell phone please so we could arrange something. Do you plan on travelling North in next few days by any chance, closer to NY? I'm from Riverdale/Bronx-NY, it'd take me 1hr 45min to get there.

 

That aftermarket spoiler looks awesome! You have a very nice MINI (VO gang represent!) I just bought the same and am having it installed along with a full JCW body kit next week. I'll be painting the CF black though.

Any issues with the aftermarket spoiler fitment? Based on the front lip you have, I'm assuming you bought both from dpaerofly on eBay which is where I also bought mine.

Honestly I thought there was going to be some fitment issues since it was from a chinese source on Ebay but the wing installed perfectly. The front lip also fit perfectly but with some hard pulling since it's not really flexible and the bottom of our cars are sorta round like a bowl. The bolts were pain for me to get in because I'm running a forge intercooler and some of the holes were right in the way of it. All in all, no complaints and everything has been perfect.

dpaerofly on Ebay first sent me the front lip when I ordered the wing and it took extremely long (2 months) for them to fix the issue. After they received my return they said they personally checked the second order and shipped me the lip again. So I had to open up a paypal dispute and ebay ticket to get them to do things a bit faster since I wasn't waiting another 2 months. After talking we settled that I would just keep the lip and purchase the wing at a discount. Working with them is a coin flip and I hope you don't run into the same issues I did.

Thanks for the info! They've been pretty responsive to my messages and I'm hoping that there will be no fitment issues with the wing. I stayed away from the front lip because I figured I'd end up shattering the CF driving around NYC with my coilovers.

I'll have to hit you up next time I'm in your area in NJ. Would love to see your MINI in person and maybe we could have a nice little VO photoshoot.

dpaerofly on eBay. I've got the same one as OP and we both got it from the same seller. I don't see it in their eBay store anymore though.
