Dustin, congrats on the new car! You'll love the color combo for sure!
The VO looks great blacked out IMO. All you need to complete the look is to drop the car (not too much), preferably with a good coilover set.


Dechroming was a combination of Vinyl wrap (bumper areas), Aliexpress covers (door handle and gas cap), and PlastiDip (window trims).

Yea I did most of the dechroming myself except for the Vinyl wrapping. Should be pretty easy if you use non-permanent methods like Plasti-Dip or covers.

Is the black surround on the grille just part of the Cooper S Grille or JCW grille? I want to change the surround on my grille to black. I do not have a Cooper S or JCW.

 

It will have to be painted , no blackline outer grille part yet.
