Haha, are you really from WI?? That's funny, cause my 2005 MCS from Coopdetat is from Wisconsin. It's like I'm swapping MINIs with WI.

Thanks for inquiring.

Ok, my 2003 Cooper is back up for sale. If anyone is interested please PM me. Same deal as before. If you're local, will include a years worth of free detailing, equivalent to around $1000 value. But if you don't want it, or live out of state, there is no cash value, i.e. I won't give you a $1,000 discount.

For some peace of mind, price includes free spare tranny should you ever need one--that will save you around $1500 to $2,000 right there.

I installed a new OEM MINI battery--yeah I was crazy to spend $130 for a new battery, but wanted to stay OEM for the new owner.

Same specs as listed on first post. Deal fell through because days before the new owner was to take possession of the car, he had to make an emergency trip overseas to visit his ailing family member, and he doesn't know when he can return, and buying this car is lowest priority for him.

But due to the inconvenience this caused me, and the fact he gave me a bad check for a deposit and I was charged a fee for that, I will accept cash only. No cashiers check, or money order or cash equivalent. Sorry, but I'm not about to get burnt again.

Thanks

SOLD!! Again!! WOOOHOOOOOOO

This time I went to the bank with the new owner- got a cashiers check, everything was perfect! It's going to a MINI owner in San Diego too, so maybe you will see it around! He does the financing at a Toyota dealership in SD.

Finally this Saga is complete. Thanks everyone!

How many times does it take to get "taken" before you come to your senses? I know I shouldn't be concerned about this. I got my money, but the new owners scammed me--they told me they were private owners buying this for themselves, even going as far as to tell me about these evil Persian car buyers who hound him. But oh well. Good luck with their sale. Thanks to a NAM member for pointing this out to me today. Not sure why I feel sick to my stomach.

Hi Karina,

I'm a little confused. I'm in Los Angeles near LAX. What would you like from me?? I'll send you a PM.

Notice the price has dropped $1000. I agree with the spirit of doing business, but not under false pretenses. Its the same mentality that has ruined business such as World Com and Enron and has created more government regulation in business today. (i.e. SOX legislation).
