In the past I’ve ran my Azenis at 40 psi front and back, and not paid much attention to them between runs. Well, the DC region is getting HOT (temperature wise) – and I’d like to try to control my tires temperature and hopefully get a little better performance out of them. I think I’m running way too much pressure in them, next autocross I’ll drop down to 33psi front and back. What is the Azenis optimal temperature? How much roll over should I look for? [/font]

 

Hi, down here in Texas, its always hot. I dont know what size of the Azenies that you have, but mine are 205/50/15's. I usually run my fronts at 38 and rears 35. Any lower in the rear and my car will swing out. I have a swaybar. These pressures are when the tires are hot.

This thread basically says anywhere between 30 and 40 psi. I'd recommend 33 to 35.

They do go away when they get too hot >140 to 150. You can spray them to cool them between runs

 

I concur with everyone else. Just make sure you check the pressures after each of your first couple of runs. The pressures and temps climb quickly with the RT-215's and from what I hear the same goes for the RT-615's as well. Great tires but they need to be kept cool and at the right pressure.
