in 2011 my 2011 was the lightest in HS I believe at 2380 on the scales...

now in STF trim it's about 15lbs heavier...but with the new seat it may FINALLY be lighter than stock class trim LOL

 

what caused the weight gain? I wish I could have spec'ed out the Mini myself but I bought used and got a good deal on it so it is what it is

weight gain was due to the heavier wheels and tires. The 16" ssrs (11lbs) and the Hoosier A6s are lighter than the Konigs (13.5 and 15.5lbs) and BFG rivals I run now. So the wheels and tires alone added about 20lbs to the car.

Then the rear bar is a few pounds heavier than the stock rear bar I used to run...

but now we've got some 6UL wheels...


As for the seat it's a Recaro pole position.Very comfy and pretty rigid. I just beefed up the bracket tonight so we'll see how it is

 

I don't suppose you would know the weight on that seat?
