help with limiter 07 justa

Hey guys,

Last week i had my first auto x with bozo... and did well. fastest time in H stock. did some under steering through sweepers and launch issues over all though ok.

Today had one main issue- 3rd gear!

last week, came close to 6 k but never had the auto sport shift force 3rd. Today, in three spots auto shift forced 3rd gear. each time coming out of a slalom and going pretty fast brakes on for sweepers, then tried to get back on gas to power out only, at the end of the preceding slalom it forced third, and i had no power...

i was mindful of this and was doing my best to constantly shift down to 2nd with the paddles... but the process way distracting, and i am sure took time away...

So guys, how do i force the car to stay in 2nd ?

how have you guys managed the situation?

Thank for any feedback

Ex

3rd GEAR

I do not know exactly how the MINI trans works, but other BMW automatics will automatically shift to the next higher gear when redline is reached. That is one of the drawbacks of the auto / steptronic trans.

Good luck and enjoy!
