Well it seems the 07 MCS I bought last week is not such a stripped down model after all.
Called the dealer to have some things done under warranty and he looked up the VIN.
Sports package
Sports Suspension
Sport wheels 17" (not sure of the name)
LSD WOOT!!!!!!!!

along with no sunroof, no heated seats, no Navigation or other comfort stuff

Wish I could locate the previous owner of this Laser Blue with white roof and bonnet stripes. Someone in Florida panhandle.

 

Do a carfax search.

Using the VIN you can see if you can find any records at local dealerships?

 

Good you have no sunroof. 55 extra pounds of top weight, leakage, and mechanical issues. More head room now too.
