Very Cool, your 1st AX, you are going to have a blast. Few tips to think about.
Go early get a map and WALK the track 3 times or more before the event starts. Walk it the way you will drive it, yes walk around the cones as if driving around them.
Ask to be put in the last run group and the 1st work group. Then watch the other runs and take mental notes about the track.
On your 1st run GO SLOW, there will be many times to go faster. Learn the track then go faster with each run. Even after years of AX my 1st lap is always slow. I've seen many great runs lost due to going off course or hitting just one cone.
Don't worry about the other people running or the times they post. Just try to learn and make each run a few secs or 1/10th of secs faster then the last.
Take lot's of water and sun screen too.
Have Fun and let us know how it goes.

what a great and succinct piece of advice
at the risk of gilding the lily, i'd only suggest that you ensure your tires are properly inflated. without going into the whole "tuning with pressure" and "what are the right pressures for the car" thing, all i mean is run them in the 30s at least, mebbe mid 30s but primarily it's a caution
you will be turning much harder than on the street, so safety matters
i sure hope you have as much fun as i do, and i'm a bit jealous of the weather
cheers,
charlie
