A couple of weeks ago, everyone thrashed out the question of whether the R50 could be competitive in STS.

I see from the National results that the Mini wasn't represented there either...

R53 in STX- competitive?

 

OasisT (Craig) gave it a great run with a well prepped car, but on the low grip surface at HTP the WRX has too much grip advantage. But on concrete it is much closer, look at Courtney Cormier's results in 2004 (2005 was wet)

 

Competitive nationally? All evidence suggests that would be tough at HPT.

Competitive regionally? Certainly!

I am going to Topeka this year to find out first hand - and watch the truly fast drivers at play.
