Is 2.0L stroker kit viable for SM class

Does anyone in SM class think that this could be something useful for competition?
Pros and Cons?
Is it a better upgrade for track use?
Is it streetable?
I have seen some upgrades for R53 as turbo only and it doesn't really seem worth the time, trouble, and expense for autocrossing, maybe for track.
