Winter Tires+Rims Recommendations to live in Denver, CO

Hi NAM Readers,

Would you give me winter tires+rims recommendation for a '04 MCS?
example: brand, size, etc.

I'll be relocating to Denver, CO - is it better to use winter/all season tires during winter?
Right now, I have performance tires which works bad in snow. I was thinking if I bought all-season tires, I can sell the performance tires then.
+ save space in my apartment.

Thanks,
dominos

Ah, we don't mind.

Anyway, it seems that most pp out here do use some form of winter tire / wheel combo if they have the MINI as a daily driver. There is lots to choose from since....just about every vehicle out here uses serious tread.

The alternative is to get a nice pickup truck as a 2nd. Seems to work well too.

When I had my MINI, I had blizzaks runflats mounted to my stock wheels for winter and I ran 17" Rota subzeros (which are for sale) with yokohomas in the summer. It's my opinion that you need a good winter tire or all-season in Denver. In fact, I am trying to get rid of my summer wheels/tires for the MINI to fund some new blizzaks for my Sti.
