Mini of Murray, Utah
Yes. I have bought 3 Mini;s from Mini of Murray, they are awesome! Please call Karen Johnson! she is awesome, and Levi the service advisor is the best! you cant go wrong with them!! if you want there direct numbers i will be happy to give them to you! Let them Know JCWORKS sent you!
Purchased my O6 from MoM last November and drove it back to CA. Conducted the entire transaction over the phone and email. Debbie Linge was the Motoring Advisor. The transaction was easy and straightforward. Highly recommend MoM if you are considering purchasing from out of state.
MoM is the best! I don't think you'll go wrong with any of the sales advisors. I haven't heard a bad word about any of them.
(though Karen is still my favorite... perhaps that's because she helped me buy mine...)

I bought my car from them, picked it up in July, and drove it back to Seattle. I worked with Juan Coles, who even came in on a day that the dealership was closed to let me pick up my car. Picked us up at our hotel in SLC. He also gave me a bit of a driving lesson, since I learned to drive stick on a car with a clutch that was going out. So I basically didn't know how to drive stick, even though I thought I did. He directed us to the easiest way out of the parking lot and onto the highway, and we were on our way.
HAven't had any problems, and my car's got 2000 miles on it already. They mailed me the stuff I needed to register my car in WA about a month after I bought it.
Their financing department is a little bit screwy, though - they charged me TWO $2000 deposits, and then when I changed my order (from blue to black) they accidentally gave me someone else's production number.
As long as you keep pestering them to make sure all your order information is right, you should be good.

Another vote for MoM. I had Juan as well. I flew in, he picked me up from the airport, and in 2 hours I was on my way back to Seattle. I asked to test drive a MC as mine had the JCW SK installed for a sound compare else I probably could have hit the road within an hour.
My wheels were wrong due to production, not a fault of the dealer, but Juan hooked me up with some nice accessories.
They had no waiting list and no "market adjustment" that you'd get from other west coast dealers.

Wow! Crusoe. You did almost the exact same thing we did. Flew into Salt Lake City, Juan picked us up in a BMW X3 (huge sunroof!)at the airport and spent three hours with us showing us everything on the car. He even took a couple of mouthfulls of washer fluid to siphon our's out before the trip home to Eastern Washington (Kennewick). That's going above and beyond if you ask me. Plus, he has a really nice Mini and a new Ducati motorcycle that he likes to talk about.
Nice guy.

Best dealer ever..... I bought mini there back in 02 from Karen Johnson. When I buy another she/ they will be getting my business again. Did mine all over the phone without any problems at all.

We had an experience like the others. Debbie Linge picked us up at the airport. She checked us out on the car in a driving rain and gave us directions back to the interstate. We then headed back to Boulder through a Spring blizzard - "Murray" handled really well in the snowy hills outside of Salt Lake and the blowing plains of Wyoming.
Debbie made it a "no brainer" on the sales side. Highly recommended!

Am I the only local?
I, too, had a very good buying experience at MoM. However, after reading all the responses to this thread I am wondering if I am the only Salt Lake area person to buy from them!
BTW, my MA was Derrick. Very young, very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. He spent quite a bit of time going over every detail at delivery.
