I'm going to play hooky from work Thursday afternoon Oct 2nd. I'll be driving from Boulder to Nederland to see fall colors change and to eat lunch at I&I Caribbean Cafe in Ned. Went mountain biking yesterday outside of Nederland, and colors are at their peak. They're golden now, so could be turning rust reds by Thursday.

 

I played hookey myself on the last day of summer. Sept 22 Mr Bilbo and Frodo's birthday of couse. Drove up hiwy 34 into Loveland and up to Estes Park via Glen Haven and then followed the Peak to Peak down into Golden. Hope you enjoy your drive as much as I did mine. The tree were already starting to turn. I noticed this when there was enough traffic where I had to slow down.
