Being from Colorado where there are mostly reservoirs of which some are called lakes, the mention of "Lake Town" was interesting considering we're in a semi arid region.

That is where most of the utah mini people are.

I recently just moved out of the SLC area and will tell you the mini scene is quite small there.

 

I registered for the forums but haven't been approved yet, so I suppose we'll have to see. I did notice the scene is quite small =/ Apparently no one uses Mini Link either, ha.

 

Never heard of MINI link. You can like Mini Of Murray on Facebook, there are a lot of people in their group but MoM DOES NOT support MINIUtah at all so there is where part of your break down is.

But yes the MINI scene is small. There are a few groups for Utah Minis on FB, what city are you in?

Problem is its an Iphone app.. and I will never own an iphone haha.

 

Oh man ok. Maybe I'll do both. I only know of one other Mini owner and she happens to be a friend ha. I've seen Mini's around but no one waves in this town either apparently.

I'm in the valley honestly. I live in South Jordan but commute all around and to downtown SLC so.

Ha yeah, Mini Link is pretty fun but no one uses it :/

 

Nice, yeah I actually just moved from South Jordan about a few weeks ago back to CA. I was off 114th and river front.

Yeah MINI of Murray sends out things for their monthly rallies. They get about 20-60 cars together on the rallies.

If you want to PM me your email I will forward on the MINI Rally for this month. Otherwise you can sign up on Mini Of Murrays web page for the monthly meets.

Most MINI owners in Utah I met or saw were just into having their stock minis and werent really enthusiasts like myself or others.

But hopefully you can get your account active on MINIUtah.

 

Ahhh lucky you. I wish I could move back to Cali. So outrageous to pay to live there though. Oh yeah! Maybe I'll do that! If you wouldn't mind sending me this months letter anyway? Don't know if they'll send me that one or wait till next months. I'll PM ya

Yeah, don't know if I'll be adding much to my Mini considering I'm not super car savvy. I'm sure I'll be changing some cosmetic things but we'll see. I want to jump into Mini events though
