I'm traveling to Copper Mountain in July for a wedding, and would like to rent a MINI while I'm there. Actually, I'd prefer driving my own MCS from Texas, but it looks like we'll be flying instead.

I've already checked with the Denver MINI dealer, who recommended National Car Rental. Unfortunately, National used to rent MINIs, but not anymore.

Anyone hear of another rental company offering MINIs?

Thanks for your help.

Hey MINICat! I don't have the answer to your question but that sounds like a good idea for a business.. North American rental companies usually stray from cars other than sedans but remember the PT Cruiser thing in 1999? I wuld think the MINI would be three fold.. That is one reason I like Australia, you can rent all the cool cars!

Well, it looks like I'll be stuck in a Grand Am or Buick Century for a few days.:???: If any of you 5280ers see a beige-ish sedan-ish car with flashing lights and a waving driver...that'll be me. Looking forward to seeing Colorado in the summer - I've only been in winter.

Sorry about that, I'd heard rumors of at least one rental place offering MINI's but when I called they said NO. Hope you have a fun time out here anyway.

Well, I was stuck in a Mitsubishi Galant this week, and sure missed my MINI. It would have been a lot more fun on the winding mountain roads between Denver and Copper. I did see one Black/White MC w/bonnet stripes and two bikes on top one evening on Main Street in Frisco. Anyone here? I flashed my lights & waved, but don't know if they saw me.

Colorado is beautiful in the summer! I'd only been in the winter before, and thoroughly enjoyed this trip. I'm back in hot, humid, and FLAT Texas now, but at least I got to drive my car today.

Thanks for the help - maybe next time.
