Anyone got a nice treo at the track they can use to share some details?

I heard from George this morning that Randy crashed during the first practice session. Sounds like there might be some damage to the car. Anyone have more details on this?

 

Steve, any more news? Nothing serious I hope! Randy is ok, right?

 

I spoke to Brian this evening. Randy is bruised, but OK. Apparently he experienced unexpected brake lockup into turn 1 coming off of the high speed oval section and hit the outside wall fairly hard, doing some front end damage to the Mule and rendering it undrivable.

The most important thing is that Randy is OK, but the mechanical issue and subsequent crash suck :(

That's all I know for now, and the exact details may not be entirely accurate...

 

Not quite the update any of us wanted to hear...

If I understood correctly, Randy's wife and kids are there as well... Just hope the man is ok...

 

Not good. He's in our thoughts. Thankfully, MINIs are fixable and he is safe.
