Birmingham race

Hi Everyone,
Just a short note, I leave for Birmingham in an hour. Steve will co-drive with me at Barber this Saturday. We had a podium at the Glen the last race and are looking forward to getting back on track at Barber. The last time we were at Barber we lead the race with the #20 car. If you are in the area stop by and say hello, heck we may even put you to work on the crew.

See you at the races.
Tony

Best to you Tony! I know tv coverage is usually 2 weeks out, but is there any radio? It would be cool to listen while doing some yardwork

I'll be showing up around lunch on Friday to watch practice and will definetly be there Saturday for both practice and the race. I remember the last time Tony and the team raced at Barber. The sound of the MINIs around the track was fantastic. You could always hear them before you saw them. After the first car went out, I still thought for sure that #20 was going to bring it home. I'm sure it will happen this year! I'll stop by and say hello and will help in any way if you need it. Don't forget the MINI Corral in the Expo Area. Good luck to Tony and the team. Butch Brown

Good weather expected, about 84 deg. and only a slight chance of afternoon scattered thundershowers, evening lows around 65.

Go Team Nuzzo!

I'll be leaving Oak Ridge about 2:00 p.m. today. Need to get there early enough to get my camping ticket. Hope to see the MINI owners out in force.

There were 3 minis at the corral today. The nuzzo mini looked to be running pretty good. Final practice got cut short due to severe weather though.

Went by and picked up my saturday ticket and watched one of the MINIs round the turn there by the museum. IT seemed to running well. Maybe the Alabama support will put you on the podium again. Good Luck and go Nuzzo MINIs.

I was following the race on Live Timing.

There were so many yellows the race ended up a timed event.

At one point Tony was in 13th in class then the car suddenly lost 3 spots. After that, they were about 4 sec/lap off the pace of the ST cars in front of them. At that time I thought they could attain a top 10 finish. I'm interested to find out what happened.

Great job to finish.
