Currently I have a set of M7 springs on the car, but I can't find a suitable setting for the shocks for them and the on road experience is pretty terrible. The car jars badly over bumps and pot holes worse than the shitty Raceland coilovers I've always used on old Jetta's. I'm willing to compromise some ride height in exchange for a smoother better street experience, but I still want something that will be compliant and sufficient enough to be able to push on track days.


Anyone have any recommendations?!

 

I believe swift makes a spring for the R53 that matches the Koni yellows well and seem to work good on track.

For a more street biased R53 i think the TSW springs would be perfect.

 

for any aftermarket spring application i would go swift

 

Have swift springs with stock suspension very happy with the setup.
