Team Octane’s had a great start to their 2010 season this weekend at Mosport. PJ Groenke finished in second position during the Sunday race, his second consecutive podium as he managed a third position finish during the Saturday race. Michel Sallenbach, a CCTCC rookie, finished an impressive fourth on Sunday after a superb sixth place finish Saturday, his first race ever at Mosport.

“Very satisfying results considering it was the first event by both drivers with Team Octane” mentioned Alain Lauzière, owner of the team based in Vaudreuil, Québec.

“I would like to thank Octane’s crew members for their assistance; my MINI Cooper was perfect every time it got on the track” pointed Groenke while on the podium.

Michel Sallenbach: “The results are beyond my expectations for this first outing, I’m very happy to be driving in the CCTCC; it will be a fantastic season”.
