Help!

Hello
I am new to this forum and mini's. I do many track days with my twin turbo 350z, but it in the shop getting a motor build. I am very eagar to track the mini. The car has the stock 16x6.5 and has the H&R lowering springs. What better than to ask you experts.

What is the best recommended tire size for this set up?
Probably going with Nitto Nt-o1 as they last longer than the Hoosiers.

Any help would be appreciated

I haven't checked to see what sizes the Nitto's come in, but n general 205/50-16 and 215/45-16 are no-brainer fits. A 225/45-16 might still fit with your drop, and works with stock suspension. 225/50-16 may rub, and is taller than stock.

The 225/40-17s fit perfect along with coilovers and these tires:

But 17" tires will be a little loose on the OEM 16x6.5" wheels. Checked out Nitto's, and the only size they have in 16" is too wide and too tall for a MINI.
