Mt. Shasta - REME Mt. Lassen Peak Run

8:30 am
We will gather at Mighty Fine Market parking lot at the corner of SR 299 and Deschutes Rd. (21919 Hwy 299E, Bella Vista, CA) easy access to to SR299. This meeting places does not have restrooms or gas, so please be sure to fill up your tank and empty your bladder beforehand.
Please have your route maps, cell phones, and GMRS/FRS Radios set for channel 7 sub- 21. We will be having a picnic lunch at Manzanita Lake so you should bring along your lunch.

9:00am - Clutches Out.
We will depart at 9:00am sharp and head east on SR 299 for approximately 21 miles and take the Buzzard Roost Rd. exit off SR 299. There we will take Phillips Rd., Bullskin Ridge Rd., Ponderosa Way, Oak Run to Fern Rd., Whitmore Rd., and stopping at Shingletown for a potty, gas, and supply stop at 10:46am. Here there is a market and deli and we can get some last minute supplies for our picnic lunch.

11:31am Depart on SR 44
After our stop in Shingletown, we will east on SR 44 for about 21 miles, then take SR89 to Manzanita Lake for our picnic lunch at 12 noon.

1:54 arrive at Bumpass Hell (8000 ft) for a our visit to the new visitor center, potty break, and photo shoot.

At 2:54pm we will depart Bumpass Hell Basin in the Lassen Volcanic National Park along SR 89 (Lassen Paek Hwy) for about 11 miles before catching SR 36 down to the Riverside Bar & Grill in Redbluff at 4:00pm ( http://www.riversidebarandgrill.net/ )
for dinner on the river.
