hi guys, i'm from Toronto Canada and new to this forum. nice to meet u all.


my rear wiper is broken after a car wash. can anybody advise how to remove / replace the arm? can I replace it with some other aftermarket arms?

Some are going to yell at you for going to a car wash. Not me. Usually they tape down the wiper with blue painters tape at the better washes. I'd just go with OEM, many vendors on here to offer up parts. The car wash should be fixing that for you, IMO.

Hello and welcome. Some car washes might cover it, but some are *at your own risk




Just take the cover cap off and unbolts the old one and line the new one up level and on the teeth and tight down the nut.

thanks everyone. it's the problem of every rear wiper as mentioned by the dealership. somehow, they have an extra motor (got it from another mini) and are happy to install the whole thing for me with the purchase of a new arm/blade.
