Car Cover

Anybody found a nice outdoor car cover for these?

I just switched into a Paceman and I can't seem to find an OEM one, or at least a nice high-end aftermarket one.

I usually use it when I'm at work since the car will sit for 24 hours anyways.

Evolution

I have heard good things about Evolution. Been looking myself but have no personal experience with them yet.

High Performance Non-Woven Fabric
Maximum UV Protection – Highest UPF rating of all K-C fabrics.
Soft-to-Paint Inner Layer – Bi-component technology blends polyethylene for softness and polypropylene for strength to assure gentle protection for paint finishes (inner layer is gray).
4-Layer Barrier – Protects against bird droppings, tree sap and industrial pollutants.
Dust / Pollution Barrier – Two middle layers of melt-blown fibers act as a filtration barrier against most airborne pollutants.
Dries Easily – Moisture is not absorbed by the fabric fibers.
Breathable – Allows any moisture or heat under the cover to easily escape.
Impact Absorption – 4-layer thickness absorbs impacts to help protect the finish from nicks, dings, dents and scratches.

A word of caution. If you keep your car and the cover clean there isn't much of a problem. The problem develops when one or the other is dirty or dusty. Think of continually rubbing your dusty/dirty car with a dry towel. That is what's happening in windy conditions when the cover is buffeting on your paint.

And that is why I have not bought one yet.

Where does your car park? Outside or parking deck? What are you worried about? Bird droppings? Door dings? Theft? There are options just trying to understand your parking situation.

For me I added Clear Bra to the front. I carry one of those Griot's Bags for things like bird droppings to clean off immediately.

For outside sun protection I would get a Mini Windshield Visor protector to keep the sun out.

Keep it waxed and detailed. Amazing what a good wax will do. Even the spray on wipe off that I use and Griots waterless wash in the garage when it is cold. Even got a small garage heater to take the nip out of the air so I can keep the car clean.
