Can't Get It to Start.. '12 Countryman S ALL4
Video attached for what it sounds like trying to start. Car has 160k miles. Started out as sputtering while driving around then it started misfiring real bad on start up, car sounded like a chopper. Smell coming from the engine bay and after short drives started seeing small clouds of white smoke(like a breath in the cold weather) coming up from the hood at the top by the windshield. And now... I haven't been able to get the mini to start for almost a week now, it died during regular in town driving at 30mph right as i was slowing down at a red light i could feel the loss of power and as soon I came to a stop it just stopped running. The radio, hazards, headlights everything in that regard was still working fine. Had to push it out of an intersection and get it towed home. Battery has died now after trying to jump and having no success.
I dont know if i should give a backstory on the repairs done so I've had my thermostat housing/coolant crossover pipe/oil change done about 2k miles ago, high pressure fuel pump replaced (for the 2nd time) about 20k miles ago, low pressure fuel pump around 70k ago, timing chain and oil pan done at 90k, transfer case and rear differential done at 70k.
