Arrow Fluctuating Idle RPMS after Cold Start

2014 R61 S all4 manual with 94k

I recently replaced my alternator with a Bosch unit which resolved my charging issues. I drove the car afterwards and all seemed well although on the way home, I did have what felt like a misfire under hard acceleration. During the alternator replacement, I had an oil leak coming from the front VANOS solenoid and I replaced the one solenoid, but it is best to replace both solenoids?

A week later, I woke up to fluctuating RPMs (some would say the RPMs were bouncing) after a cold-start and the idle is ranging from 800 to 2000. Trying to determine if this caused it or if I have a vacuum leak or some other issue going on. No codes.
