a little back story...i had just lowered my cms all4 and got an alignment, but the alignment was off and peeled of the inner tire in the rear. got new tires and a correct alignment. now, i may have not noticed before all that ( i do tend to "crank it" when driving) but now im noticing a rubbing noise when im off throttle, ie coasting, at any speed over 15 mph. i looked for any kind of witness marks that would show rubbing, like on the tire, wheel well, rim, but i dont see anything.

what im worring about is the transaxle. is this a know issue/condition?

 

funny enough it was the heat shield above the exhaust was rubbing on the driveshaft. hard to find, easy to fix.
