Hi,
Has anybody had issues with the FM reception on the car?

My car is awful, can't listen to any station without noise, even in places where the reception is very good.

Dealer updated (they say) 4 times the car, each for several hours. No improvement

 

My guess is that the antenna connection to the radio is come apart.

I have a similar issue with my radio but with mine i cant get any AM stations and the screen goes blank every once in a while. FM works excellent.

 

So these cars, as well as many other BMWs and probably other cars, have 2 FM antennas. One on the roof and one in the rear glass. Both have to be working properly to get a good signal. We had the rear glass replaced in my wife's car while it was still under warranty for a similar issue to what you describe.
