Hi all. 2012 Mini countryman s all4. My ac stopped working a while back. But i don't want to spend all the money trying to pay a mechanic so i want to replace it myself. Does anyone know the location of the ac compressor?

 

It's on the lower pass side of the engine. But before you replace such an expensive part I would make sure 100% it is bad as we don't see them fail on the R60. But many other things as simple as low charge will cause it to not kick on and can all be much cheaper fixes.
