OK, today I got someone to run to see if the car had any issues.

Symptoms - Runs bad in hot humid temps with AC.

This is want we got:

1- EWS3.3 EWS-DME-Interface / Interface EWS -DME / From manifold pressure sensor fault diagnosis
- Code: 002FD9

2- Steering column switch / Lenkstockschalter:
- Fault: Surge Protection
- Code: 009E30

3- Instrument cluster / Kombiinstrument:
- Fault: Shutdown
- Code: 00A559

4- Fussraummodul /FRM:
- Fault: left parking light defective
- Code: 00A8AC - (LOOKED AND NO BULBS ARE OUT AT ALL!)

600 miles, never had a car with issues so soon. Can someone help.

Yep, take it to the dealer. Its under warranty. If you dont like the dealer you bought it from, find a different one.

 

Did that, they said the codes from Carly are false and don't match their codes.

They said that the App is not accurate because MINI codes are proprietary and cannot be deciphered but from the dealer only.

oh well...another run around and finger pointing...

 

And you dont believe them? Given what you posted as fault codes, i suspect your buddy gave you a faulty diagnosis. Have you considered buying a Toyota Corolla or a Honda Civic yet?

 

Yes, got those, had them, had 0 issues. New problems everyday with this car
