There's screws to adjust up or down. Mine were not correct when delivered so I adjusted myself. You can adjust the cutoff line on the projector as well as mine was not focused correctly either.

IRoNoRE, they are not self adjusting, but self leveling. They have hard adjustments independent of level sensor status, as well as fine adjustment of cutoff shield on the projector.

That said, adjustment should only be performed with the headlights in adjustment mode, or at least level ground. This will prevent over adjustment up or down which can damage the levelling motors.

How do you adjust the cut off shield focus and what is adjustment mode?

My lights need to come down some.

Thanks...

I have a 2010 Mayfair that I overdrove my headlights at 35 MPH. The dealer said no to adjusting the vertical when asked so I looked long and hard. Voila'. There on the engine side on both, drivers side left, passengers right side is a WHITE plastic hex nut head . It is a metric allen wrench size 6mm. Turn this screw CLOCKWISE and it will RAISE the headlight beam. I parked in front of my apartment building about four feet away from the wall and I achieved a raising of the light beam one full brick high. Enough for my lights to actually light the road ahead of me for a safe distance without having to turn on my high beams!!!! BTW the dealer mechanic's reply when I complained I couldn't see the road ahead of me was to install xenon fog lights. Is there some kind of Mini dealer policy NOT to correct the adjustments on these xenons?
