Noise heard when turning ( clicking sounds) ? Anyone experience it?

 

That usually points to a CV joint going bad. I can't say that I have read anywhere of others having that issue.

 

If you have an ALL4 and it's when you are in reverse, it seems to be normal.

 

It couldn't be the joints.. There is no grinding when turning . It sounds like creaking on the initial acceleration and turning right. Weird! This is my second mini. No weird sounds on my first one. Frustrating. To the dealer on Monday.

 

Is it a constant creaking or a click sound when accelerating? I had a click sound when accelerating and shifting from 1-2-3rd gears. Have them check your engine mounts. Mine we're loose from the factory. They tightened them and no more clicks. Hope this helps.
