Countryman All4 Towed on 2 wheels!
My countryman all4 was recently towed. The tow company towed it about 150 feet with only the front wheels off the ground, while the rear wheels were on the ground spinning. After this, they put it on a flatbed. The tow was going very slowly. I am concerned that there is damage to the all wheel drive system, what should I be looking out for, and is this a legitimate concern? Is there a way for me to test for damage?
I have been told that with some AWD vehicles, towing at low speed like this for a short distance is ok, but I am not sure about the mini.
