2005 conv.works kit S MOtor and cables shot?
I have a 2005 convertible and this will be the second time I have to replace my motor and cables. Does that sound right to anyone out there? The car only has 42,000 miles on it and I hardly put the top down at all.Since the insurance co. replaced my top due to a broken rear window. It hasnt been the same since. Now the top is jamming up again and the repair shop that fixed it the first time is saying that the motor and cables are shot again. What should I do? Im feeling like my insurance co. is screwing me by the repair shop

I replaced my passenger side cable around 55-60k in 2009

Never had any problems with the mid roof motor (nor the hydraulics in the back)
I put my top down 2-3 times a day almost every day.
Never had my whole top replaced. It sounds like something isn't getting lined up, or the frame is slightly bent.
I wish I could help more, I just wanted to let you know that the top shouldn't be that much trouble.
Sorry & Good Luck
