light thumping...
was hearing a light thumping under hard stop and go driving coming from the rear of the car. Discovered this week its the flap on the inside edge of the luggage cover when the rear seats are reclined.

Same noise has been driving me mad for weeks. That must be it! It started after I put the seats completely forward to haul and then flipped them back.
