My CM is doing something odd. When it is hot out I like to open all of the windows and the sunroof via the fob while I am walking to the car. The other day I was unable to get the back passengers window to close. After several tries it did close but ever so slowly. Anyone seen this? It has happened a second time, but I really do not want to get it stuck down, so I do not want to push it.

I've not had any problems other than user error getting used to the magic up/down switch. Did the same open everything at Metro, drove home and hit all the switches to auto-close. This AM I was hearing wind noise and looked around to find the back window still down. Oh, and did I mention it rained cats and possums last night?

On your situation - slow usually means mis-aligned tracks or a power drain issue. My strategy is to let it go once, but keep an eye on it. If it does it again, that's why we have warranties.

Haven't had trouble with the rears, but, sometimes the front ones feel sorry for the rears and stay up an inch or so.

IIRC - the window regulators can be "calibrated" for lack of a better word. I believe my MCS had to have this done one time. The calibration was done via computer and no parts were removed or animals injured in the process.

This may have changed in recent years, but quick call to a trusted MINI Tech should help you out.

 

I know. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. You are supposed to hold the button up 30 seconds then down 30 seconds, I think the fob needs to be inserted for those who have comfort access.
