Junction Block Failure

Just wanted to document my experience in case it helps anybody in the future. Hopefully nobody will need it.
2011 Countryman ALL4, automatic, built in April.

With my car 23 days old (2200 miles), it took 6 or 7 pushes on the fob button before it would unlock after work on Monday. I though it was odd, but maybe out of sync or something. Drove home with no other issue.

A couple hours after being home, I opened the door to grab something and noticed the Tach display showing a red MINI on a lift. Not a good sign. I plugged in the fob and got the following telltales lit up:
-BRAKE (red)
-ABS (yellow)
-Traction Control (yellow)
-TPMS (yellow)
-Check Engine (yellow)
-MINI on a lift graphic (red)
-Low fuel (yellow)..the car had at least 3/4 tank
Also, fuel gage shows empty, doors won't lock or unlock by fob or dash switch, speedo and tach don't move when car is driven, auto headlamps not working, and backup lamps not working.
MINI roadside assistance had the car flatbedded to Motor City MINI that night.

Tuesday update from service dept: The car would not communicate with diagnostic tools. Dealership contacted MINI engineering for help.

Wednesday update: The car still not communicating. They are swapping out modules with a loaner trying to troubleshoot.

Thursday update: The root cause has been found to be a failed junction block (JBE). Replacement is due to be delivered on Monday. Unfortunately, the JBE failure has ruined the battery. Replacement battery is backordered until at least next Thursday. MINI engineering would not allow the dealership to put in a smaller battery that they had in stock.

One week Thursday update: Battery still on backorder.

One week Friday update: MINI engineering approved putting in a 55 A battery instead of the 70 A battery that the car should have. This will let me have my car until the proper replacement comes in. Then back to the dealership to have it replaced.

Brittany at Motor City MINI has been helpful and kept me updated daily and got me a loaner when I asked for it.

I'm trying to be patiently optimistic with this car. I really enjoy driving it and hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
